Education

The Education program offered by Our Saviour's Lutheran Church is designed for people   from 3 to 103 years old. A Sunday
School hour of music, lessons, and learning takes place each Sunday from 9:15 to10:15 A.M. starting the Sunday after
Labor Day and ending on the Sunday before Memorial Day.
Our goal at Our Saviour's is that people will come to know and believe the Good News of Jesus Christ as their Lord
and Savior. The preschool and kindergarten children are taught in their own  classrooms and  learn basic Bible concepts.
The 1st through 5th grade students go to "Fun" day school, which is a  workshop rotation style of learning.
They study one story for six weeks in six different workshops-art, audio-visual, computer, drama, Soar & Explore, and Temple.
The middle school students have their own teacher & Shepherd and have their own lessons.  The high school students are
given the opportunity to assist with the younger children in their learning experiences. The Pastor leads an adult
Bible Study during the Sunday School hour.

AFTER SCHOOL AND YYG

The After School Program at Our Saviour’s is for ALL CHILDREN in Kindergarten through 2nd grade.
Transportation is available from Jefferson and Roosevelt Schools.
If your child attends another elementary school, we will be happy
to help you arrange transportation. We meet each Wednesday from right after school until 4:45PM.
Some of our activities include time with Nurse Betty, crafts, movies, games and always, always Snack!!
YYG (Younger Youth Group) is for ALL CHILDREN in 3rd through 5th grade.
We meet each Wednesday from 5PM-7PM and we do LOTS of fun stuff—we go on field trips,
we play awesome games, spend time with Nurse Betty, we have parent nights,
Talent Shows, skits—and that is just the tip of the iceberg!! YYG includes supper at the
beginning of each Wednesday night.
We will hold registration on Wednesday, September 12th for 3-6PM. Parents, please be prepared to
fill out a permission slip with your health insurance information included.
Kids, both programs will start meeting on September 19th—so bring your friends and join in the fun!!

Middle School and High School Kids
Because of the number of kids in this age group this year, there will be TWO Sunday School classes for you—
Pre-Confirmation for 6th and 7th graders and Confirmation age class for the 8th and 9th graders.
Those of you who are confirmed have the option of volunteering for PS-5th grade classes or going to Adult Forum.
Call or e-mail the church office if you have any questions.
