LUTHERAN CHURCH

Education

The Education program offered by Our Saviour's Lutheran Church is designed for people   from 3 to 103 years old. A Sunday
School hour of music, lessons, and learning takes place each Sunday from 9:15 to10:15 A.M. starting the Sunday after
Labor Day and ending on the Sunday before Memorial Day.
Our goal at Our Saviour's is that people will come to know and believe the Good News of Jesus Christ as their Lord
and Savior. The preschool and kindergarten children are taught in their own  classrooms and  learn basic Bible concepts.
The 1st through 5th grade students go to "Fun" day school, which is a  workshop rotation style of learning.
They study one story for six weeks in six different workshops-art, audio-visual, computer, drama, Soar & Explore, and Temple.
The middle school students have their own teacher & Shepherd and have their own lessons.  The high school students are
given the opportunity to assist with the younger children in their learning experiences. The Pastor leads an adult
Bible Study during the Sunday School hour.

Summer Schedule Begins

Our Sunday Schedule changes on Sunday, May 25th, when we go to our summer schedule.  Traditional worship is still at 8am, but there is NO SUNDAY SCHOOL.  Contemporary Worship moves to 9:30am for the summer.

******************************************

Power Point Projector
A Power Point Projector has been purchased by the Education Ministry Team for use in Sunday School, VBS, and worship.
We were able to purchase this projector because of your generosity in giving the quarters collected each Sunday during worship. A gift was also given by the worship team to help pay for the projector.
As you might guess, this has depleted the Sunday School account. You can help us replenish the account by your continued giving of quarters each Sunday.
Thank you!!

It’s Time to Get Ready for another year!!!
Sunday School starts SEPTEMBER 9TH with Rally Day in the Fellowship Hall.
There is something for the whole family at our Rally Day Celebration.
This year we’re going to be talking about Safety. Safety in our home, safety outside, and safety for ourselves.
Mom and Dad, come and register your kids on September 9th and stay with them for fellowship and
learning about ways that we can keep ourselves safe. There will be information booths, snacks, games,
and a movie for you to enjoy.
There will also be some prizes for you to win—kids, get ready for some Bible Buck offerings!
See you all there—and hey, bring a friend — or two or three!!

we play awesome games, spend time with Nurse Betty, we have parent nights,
Talent Shows, skits—and that is just the tip of the iceberg!! YYG includes supper at the
beginning of each Wednesday night.
We will hold registration on Wednesday, September 12th for 3-6PM. Parents, please be prepared to
fill out a permission slip with your health insurance information included.
Kids, both programs will start meeting on September 19th—so bring your friends and join in the fun!!

Middle School and High School Kids
