Breakfast Fundraiser

The Confirmation Sunday School class is hosting a
Breakfast Fundraiser for
THE NEW SANCTUARY WINDOWS
Sunday, November 4th from 9AM until 10:15AM.
They will be serving Egg Bake, Muffins, and Beverages for a free will donation.
All of the proceeds will go to the Sanctuary Windows and up to $600 will be matched by
Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.
Please join us in supporting the Youth and help with raising the money for the new windows.

 

Attention all Youth! We will be meeting on November 18th at 4PM for a movie/game night at St. James Lutheran. The movie, “Facing the Giants” will be shown. Some of you will remember this movie from the clip that we saw at the Peder Eide Concert at Trinity in October. (Remember the football player carrying another player on his back and the coach encouraging them to keep going?) For those of you not interested in watching the moive, there will be board games, pool and ping-pong as well. We will be ready to go home by 6:30PM. Call the church office if you need a ride!

Mark December 1st down for a shopping trip to the Mall of America—St. James, St. Paul’s and Our Saviour’s Youth are all invited to go on an adventure to the mall in Minneapolis. Moms and Dads, we will need YOU to help with transportation and crowd control so call the office now to volunteer.

What about praising God in song?  Do you like talking about those hard faith issues that you face every day?  Then we're looking for you!  All high school students are invited to join us for a time of fellowship, friendship, & fun.  This is a new ministry for high school youth who are interested in spending some time in song, conversation, and prayer with a  cup o' joe, cappuccino, or hot cocoa.  C'mon and join us!
